Skill Building–Value: April 19th 7:00PM
The value defines how light or dark a given colour or hue can be. The more tonal variants in an image, the lower the contrast. We will first create a greyscale and then apply the same tints and shades to different colours. Value is very important in creating the illusion of depth.
Who is this class for? Any beginner to advanced artist wanting to explore value using a warm and cool palette.
As always, I provide all supplies. We will be using acrylics, but these lessons can also be applied to watercolours and oils.
