Dappled Light

5 x 7 watercolour on 300lb Arches cold pressed paper.  This mini landscape is painted on lovely deckled edge paper.  I love to see the sun come through the leaves and branches when I'm standing in the woods.  My husband and I joined friends at Bard On The Beach in Vanier Park this weekend to watch A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was a fantastic performance and I was thinking of the fairies in the forest when I painted this.
